Paul van der Merwe is a Guinness World Record holder and has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He spends his days working as an engineering manager for an engineering contractor that executes large capital projects for the international mining and minerals industry. He and his wife, Corlia, have two children and live in Pretoria.
