Peter Castillo was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Since he was a boy he enjoyed the artistic side of life. Reruns of the original Twilight Zone kept him mesmerized on that particular paranormal style of storytelling. The rock band KISS and the original Star Wars series also played a part in his creativity. As an adult, Pete dabbled in writing and he learned from various editors as well as "How To" books on sculpting fiction. Eventually, various story ideas began to imerge, so Pete put fingers to keyboard until he produced his first published novel "Breach Of Consciousness."
