Philip Kent-Hughes attained a business degree from Monash University, in Melbourne, Australia. He worked in export, and the training industry, where he was involved in interviewing and hiring staff. He then worked as a Senior Consultant in emergency and crisis management for a diverse range of organizations including, education, hospitals, transport, and government. He has written crisis management plans, and developed training scenarios that included cyber-attack, natural disasters, active shooter, and an escaped dangerous animal from a zoo. Philip continues to write on climate change and speculative fiction.
