Phil Slattery is a native of Kentucky but now lives in Arkansas. He has a B.A. in German and Russian and was an Intelligence officer in the US Navy for ten years. He started writing as a hobby in the 1980's. He is finishing up his first novel, Shadows and Stars, a sci-fi/adventure/horror tale about a scientist who teleports to an alien world, where he and his teleporter are caught between sides in a revolution.
