Prathapchandra Kedilaya, who lives in India, did his grad­uation in medicine with an MBBS degree and continued to practice for five years as a general practitioner. Later he did his post-graduation (MD) in Medical Biochemistry. He then taught Biochemistry in Medical Schools and managed the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory of the hospitals attached to these Schools.

He conceptualized ‘collective ownership based economy’ on his own when he was in his teens, and his family supported his concept. With the advent of the internet, he discovered that more people around the world shared his thoughts, and this led him to write this book, which is his first.
