Ralph J. Russell is the second of three sons. Born to George and Ruth Russell. A native of New Orleans, Ralph is motivated by his spiritual discernments, insights, and foresights. Ralph's parent provided him with a broad and well defined cultural foundation.
Ralph was recruited by NASA in 1963 to work in the encapsulation laboratory on the Saturn V moon project. Ralph felt the need to seek other endeavors and moved to Los Angeleds in 1965.
Ralph acquired a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise while he was employed with Collins Food International as a district manager. In 1976 he became one of the only two black men and youngest black man at the time to obtain this franchise in the United States.
In 1976 after joining forces with the Haagen Dazs Ice Cream company as the only black Haagen Dazs distributor in the United States, his distributor ship became one of the largest of its kind. Ralph also became an Adhor Farms Milk distributor while distributing for Haagen Dazs.
Ralph with no formal training started writing lyrics in 1976 to present.
