Rebecca Alexandru is the daughter of Romanian immigrants and grew up in Southern California. Now she has three wild boys, two sassy pets, and one awesome husband. Rebecca taught elementary school in a small town in Colorado, which inspired the setting of Cedar Springs. Then, she started a family in the wilds of Alaska, which encouraged her to appreciate winter. (She loves Christmas but hates the cold!) In her spare time, she imagines and types up books and screenplays. Her favorite writing activity is hosting writing parties with teens and kids, listening to their exciting stories and encouraging their love of creativity.
