REBECCA ALLARD, a New Yorker in spirit, has currently taken a detour and returned to Texas for a few years. She was a professional actor in New York City in the ‘70s before joining a Fortune 500 accounting and auditing firm where she rose to national management. After retiring in 2000 to focus on writing, she was privileged to study with Vivian Gornick, Linsey Abrams, and Ann Hood. She is the author of RECKLESS: A Memoir.
