After graduating from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, I earned an MBA and a PhD from the University of Minnesota, and then became an assistant professor of marketing at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I transitioned and spent the next twenty-five years in the energy industry, retiring as a director of customer channels at Portland General Electric. Presently, I am a consultant and a writer.
The birth of my granddaughter Elsie inspired me to write Our Dreams for Our Children: Creating Legacies That Inspire Each New Generation to Achieve a Brighter Future. Having been awakened to the power of legacy, this book is a wake-up call to baby boomers everywhere to start now to plan and implement their legacy.
