Richard Wills is a former Los Angeles bail bondsman, having worked at two of the city’s busiest agencies. He authored and published the first book on how to start and operate a bail bond agency, which was used as a training manual for bail bondsmen in California and across the country. He’s been an actor, TV host, screenwriter, director and producer. His work as a TV host and producer earned him a finalist in the WAVE (Western Access Video Excellence) Awards competition for Instructional Programs-Community Producer. Competition for this award included six states: California, Nevada, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. He is the author of six non-fiction books and has the perfect background for writing his first crime noir pulp fiction novel 77th and Broadway: A Decade in a World of Crime; release date Fall 2019. He resides in Pasadena, California and enjoys a shoot-a-round of basketball.
