I started my career as an illustrator in Vancouver, Canada, and have worked in New York City as a Graphic Designer, with my own design studio, since 1995. Recently I have rediscovered my passion for storytelling and illustration, and started to paint in watercolors, capturing the local scenes in my neighborhood Coney Island Beach. I am a member of SCBWI, the Storybook Academy, Children’s Book Insider, and Reedsy writing communities, all of which help me to keep my finger on the pulse of current trends in children’s picture books.
