BIOGRAPHY OF *ROB JUNG
Born in the wine country of California; grew up in a beautiful, little Mississippi River town in Wisconsin; educated in the Minnesota State University system and Harvard Law School, Rob Jung now lives the writer's life in suburban St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Kathy.
Prior to law school (and forty-eight years of legal practice) Jung was a newspaper writer while getting his undergraduate degree at Winona State University. A life-long student of history, geography and religion, Jung has traveled in every continent except Antarctica, and his books often find their origin in historical events discovered his travels.
He has written five novels, the first two of which are safely locked in a secret drawer to eliminate the chance of injury to either reader or the literary world. His first published novel, Cloud Warriors, a stand-alone action/adventure story, was published by John Hunt Publishing (UK). The Reaper, his second published novel, is the first book of a series that revolves around the disappearance of a famous painting and how it set in motion, seventy-five later, a psychological, political and legal war between a struggling artist and his estranged mother. The Sower, the second book in this saga, has recently been released.
Jung is a member of The Loft Literary Society, Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America and a founding member of South of the River Writers. His nonfiction writing has been published in various periodicals. He is the father of three adult children, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and countless other “adopted” children of all ages. In addition to writing and lawyering, Jung likes to cook, garden, read, fish, travel, watch baseball, attend classic car auctions, drink wine and tell stories.
