Robin became interested in writing after teaching elementary school students writing strategies. She started with a humorous blog under the name nurseracquet at nurseracquet.wordpress.com about the life of a suburban tennis player. She also included short stories her mother had told her about her family’s experiences during World War II. This blog led to being co-creator and co-editor of a regional tennis magazine called Top Spin.
After ten years of journaling memory snippets of her young life living on a big ranch in the Missouri Ozarks, she began to write this memoir, The Big Ranch in the Ozarks, A Journey of the Greatest Generation, in honor of her parents and family.
Robin now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has two sons and one grandson. When not writing, she enjoys painting, quilting, tennis, golf, pickleball, bowling, fishing, being a grandparent, and cooking with her husband, Cliff.
