I decided I had to earn a living after BA and graduate studies in Modern European History; went back to school and eventually earned an MS in Engineering from USC in 1971.
In the 1960s, I was stationed in Turkey and Germany for five years as a US Air Force Signals Intelligence Officer; and, I eventually lived in Europe for almost 8 years. While working in the military electronics field for forty years, my main function was to translate engineering jargon into understandable English and communicate it to senior decision makers in the US government in both written and verbal form.
In the 1990s I began taking novel writing classes at UCLA and writing for pleasure. Now retired, I’m free to devote full time to writing. THE BERLIN TUNNEL—A COLD WAR THRILLER, my first published novel, was selected by Acorn Press as one of their new releases. To my surprise and delight, soon after its release in early October 2018, it became #13 on the Amazon Best Seller List for New Releases in Historical Mystery, Thriller and Suspense Fiction.
