Once considered a darling of the evangelical Christian world, his journey took him away from organized religion, a change influenced by his study of the Bible in the original languages and his personal experience as a Christian. He became convinced that very few Christians really knew why they believed what they believed. His debut novel, The Interview, is designed to challenge what Christians believe about the Bible, the character of God, and the message proclaimed by Jesus of Nazareth two thousand years ago. This story is for doubters and wanderers, the spiritual but not religious, who want to know who Jesus Christ really was and what he taught. The Interview strips away the theological layers that have distorted the real message of Christ—the Kingdom of God.
The author grew up in Chicago and has three beautiful daughters: Jennifer, Melissa, and Stephanie, along with five pretty cool grandkids.
