Rowena is an Australian author and screenwriter. She was born and raised in rural Queensland but spent many years living in Melbourne. She now resides in beautiful Brisbane. Rowena started her career as an actor and then became an actors' agent. These days she prefers to stay firmly on the other side of the camera. Her first novels for Young Adults were published in 2008 and 2009. She took time off writing to run her agency but is back in the saddle again with a new YA novel - That Garcia Girl. The Grumleys of Castle Grimwold is her first Middle Grade novel but hopefully not the last.
