The really silly poetry book by Nikhil Tharakan is a collection of poems and drawings from an 11 year old boy from California which he wrote and drew over the course of the COVID pandemic while studying from home. The poems range from funny to sad and each of them take the reader into the author’s world of childhood as seen by him. The collection of artwork accompanying the poems were primarily drawn by the author around the same period of time. They range from black and white pencil drawings to vibrant watercolor artwork. He is anxiously waiting for schools to open for real so that he can go back and play with his school friends whom he misses a lot.
