I am a U.S. veteran with very little money and far too much free time, which is now spent telling lies about time-bending cowboys. I write under the pseudonym "S. A. Hunt" because Sam Hunt is a reputedly irascible New Zealand poet and I like to avoid confronting irascible poets. You know me on Twitter as @authorsahunt and on the mean streets as Esé.

I was born and raised in one of the many middles of nowhere, the backwoods of Georgia. I was a crap math student in school but blew everything else out of the water; toward the end of high school I was named a "Mentor of Poetry, Prose, and Performance" by the National Creative Society (it's not a huge distinction but it certainly sounds like one, which is why I enjoy it so much).
