I grew up in the '60s on the south side of Chicago and the rural backwoods of Texas. Writing books and poetry is my way of putting a voice to all the chaos, heartbreak, and joy of those years. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College with bachelor's degrees in Theater and English. I worked in New York with stage productions and art design. I've also written and directed numerous plays in the US and in Gothenburg, Sweden, where I currently reside, and work as a drama director for Smyrnakyrkan.
