Born and raised mostly in the Tampa Bay area, Sandra Hutchison moved to snowy Western Massachusetts in her junior year of high school and eventually stopped sulking about it, although it's possible she's still working it out in her fiction. A former acquisitions editor, marketing manager, and associate creative director (Prentice Hall, Pearson Learning), she currently writes fiction and also teaches writing at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. She formed Sheer Hubris Press in 2013 and published her first novel THE AWFUL MESS: A LOVE STORY to notable success (by indie standards), with over 5,000 paid sales to date. It was also one of five general fiction semifinalists for the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.
