Born in Sydney, Australia, Sandra came to America to work as a physical therapist in Chicago, where she also studied theater and dance. After moving to Los Angeles, she went on to study film & entertainment at UCLA, while also earning her MBA at La Sierra University.
Her talents as a lyricist led her to her now husband, composer Kurt Oldman, who co-wrote and produced her debut album, THYME. Her screenplay, Life on Mars made the top 200 of the Page International Screenwriting Competition and quarterfinals of the ASA Screenwriting Competition.
Selected to participate in AiF’s Writers Room, Sandra work-shopped her debut YA/Fantasy novel, Cecilia: The Last Croilar Tier, which went on to win multiple awards including Literary Classics and CIBA’s Dante Rossetti.
Sandra presently works in development for Nthibah Pictures and is an associate producer on the upcoming Sam Raimi produced film, Boy Kills World. Beyond imagining fantastical stories, Sandra loves hiking, skiing, and snorkel with sea turtles.
