Some authors are natural-born creative writers. Others are educated into the craft. I am neither of these two types. I was simply hounded by a truth so determined to be known to the world that it wouldn’t let me to sleep. And so…I wrote this book. It’s the one I wish I could have read at the tender age of thirteen, or even, thirty-eight. It’s the one I wish my mother had a chance to read. Regardless, I’m thankful that my eyes are now wide open and allowing me to look forward, to the journey ahead.
