The title fascinated me. I have always questioned things, I often find myself daydreaming, wondering about the world and my existence, and it leads me to more questions for a closer examination of my own experience. As Plato once said, ‘The unexamined life, is not worth living’.
Once in school, my teacher said, Ok class, we reading about “The forgotten war”, I asked, “Sir, how is it forgotten, if it was remembered to be called the ‘forgotten war? Mr Taylor, chuckled and found amusement in my curiosity, which has always been playful.
Ten years later, I have been on spiritual journey, life journey or human journey, whichever label sits well with you. I have learnt a lot, made a lot of mistakes, experienced a lot joys and pain, have had moments of deep profound feelings of interconnectedness and experienced deep depression, feelings of isolation. One thing above all I’ve learnt, is to never stop questioning through all of it. Which has always been fuelled by my faith and the mystery of life.
