Simona Grossi was born and raised in the South of Italy before receiving her first law degree in Rome. After working as a litigator for two major law firms in Milan, she moved to the U.S. to receive her master and doctoral degrees in law from UC Berkeley. Simona Grossi was born and raised in the South of Italy before receiving her first law degree in Rome. After working as a litigator for two major law firms in Milan, she moved to the U.S. to receive her master and doctoral degrees in law from UC Berkeley. She then became a professor of law at Loyola Law School L.A., where she now teaches litigation and lives nearby with her husband. Grossi also enjoys playing the piano and is currently studying to graduate from a Conservatory of music in Italy. She is the author of Looking For Clara, her most recent title Frozen Butterflies, and plans on writing many more in the present and future
