Stacie Green, an author and illustrator living in Durham, North Carolina, with family is known for her whimsical and playful designs. Her stories weave mythical creatures into fun and vibrant illustrations that address mental health issues, self-care, and encourages readers to practice empathy, compassion, and understanding. Stacie's storytelling style incorporates the written word as well as the drawings to draw in her readers. She wrote and published her first book in 2023 and just completed her second in March 2024. She is an accomplished artist and award winning author with an active Spoonflower shop and a wholesale catalog of whimsical and fun greeting cards and paper goods. She has her MA in Art Education and BA in Studio Art and taught for over a decade both in the US and abroad. Her unique travels, life experience, and training have given her a fresh approach to childrens picture books.
