Steven Furr is a husband, father of three, and semi-retired IT professional who has recently found inspiration to write his first novel, Existential Masques, a fictional coming of age story, while examining his past. It delves into mental health, marital problems from a child’s perspective, loss of loved ones, and physical and emotional trauma. All of these are similar to difficulties the author experienced during adolescence.

Steven has written unpublished works, including short stories and poetry. Some of these were set to music and recorded for a rock group that he belonged to during the early 1980s.
