Susana Aikin is a writer and a filmmaker who lives between New York City and Madrid. She has a degree in law from the University of Madrid and a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. In 1986 she started her independent film production company in NYC, Starfish Productions, for the production of documentary films which multiple awards, including a Rockefeller Fellowship and an Emmy Award in 1997. She started writing fiction full time in 2010.
