T.J. Sachs is a native of Baltimore, MD and an award-winning communications professional with twenty years of experience in the field. Sachs’s interest in science fiction and fantasy began at an early age with the works of Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, and Anne McCaffrey. Sachs is an avid art collector, ice hockey fan, and video game enthusiast.

Sachs’s previous literary work includes From a Fellow Patient, a collection of personal essays. She readily admits that writing a press release is easier than a work of fiction. Sachs credits her mother and grandmother with fostering her love of storytelling. In addition to writing, Sachs dabbles in graphic design, and was a former actor and mezzo soprano.
