Tanner Owen grew up in Arkansas and Tennessee. Originally attending Georgia Tech in Atlanta for Computer Science, he switched career paths and completed his higher education at the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation. He then moved to California to find work in the film industry. He has had a successful career in the visual effects industry, working on such hits as Madagascar 2, How to Train Your Dragon, and Avatar: The Way of Water. He is now exploring a new creative outlet as an author. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife.
