Tom Annino was born and raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where he loved playing baseball in the summer leagues. After college, his job moved his family six times before landing in a town outside of Philadelphia, where he lives with his wife, near his three children and grandchildren. His focus is now on writing. Still, after many years away from Chicago, he misses Wrigley Field hot dogs and the wind off Lake Michigan at Soldier Field.
