Tim was born in Essex and spent his younger years at a stuffy school in Suffolk. He studied Sociology at Brunel University, and stayed in London for over ten years. This time was interspersed with travelling and volunteering in Latin America, India and New Zealand. Meeting people from all over the world and observing considerable disparities of wealth became the germ of Where Hope Goes. When not writing he tutors young people in care. He currently lives in Devon with his wife and two gorgeous daughters.
