I have been writing professionally since I enrolled at N.C. State University in August 1981 and went to work for Technician, the student newspaper, as a sportswriter. I have worked as a writer/editor for The Associated Press, Coman Publishing, Inc., The News & Observer (Raleigh, N.C.), Biblical Archaeologist, TotalSports and the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners.
