The Author is a native New Yorker, who now resides in Maryland. She likes to share with others that growing up, she has always had the best of both worlds. One of which included spending her summers in North Carolina on her grandparent’s farm. There, her responsibilities included slopping pigs, picking and cleaning fruits and vegetables, pole fishing with her cousins, handing tobacco and getting eggs from the chicken coop. This was in sharp contrasts to her life in the Bronx. As a city girl she hung out with her friends, played scully’s, handball, stick ball (yes, she was that girl), riding the subway downtown and enjoying all the city offered.
Having served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and several more years as a reservist in the U.S. Army, she went on to work for a little over 20 years in the Federal Government. Reinvesting in herself, she became a consultant and full-time writer. This is her second children's book.
The Author currently resides in Mount Airy, MD with her husband Clif and three of her five children.
