I am an active member of the Romance Writers of America. 'When a Flower Burns' is my debut novel. Prior to writing this book, I had written feature comedy screenplays and television pilots, which have placed as finalists in contests such as Screen Craft, Story Pros, Pitch Fest, Second City, Fresh Voices, among others. Although I very much enjoy writing comedy scripts, I felt limited to my story telling abilities with the word limits, so I followed my intuition and wrote this book. Saying I enjoyed the process would be an understatement. I believe this is the start of an exciting career as an author. I am currently working on my next novel which is an inspirational book about the law of attraction.
