Vicki Weeks relocated from Key West, Florida to Savannah, Georgia, where she now resides. She is the CEO of Weeks Consulting and recently founded 99 Percent Books to provide a platform for new voices in progressive fiction. Her first novel, Code of Honor, published under V.C. Weeks, was nationally released in last fall and has been been critically acclaimed in Chicago Life Magazine, the Savannah Morning News, and Key West the Newspaper.
Her short story,Sixteen Minutes, was recently selected for inclusion in the Savannah Anthology, 2015, joining two other previously anthologized award-winning short stories, Green Mangos and Velvet Nights, published in Reading and Eating in Paradise.
While in the Keys, Weeks published in a variety of national and regional publications including the Undersea Journal and the South Florida lifestyle magazine, The Fountain. She wrote film reviews and social commentary columns for the weekly Celebrate Key West that were long-standing reader favorites. Her online publishing history includes articles for Webvet.com, and content development for a number of Facebook pages and Twitter accounts.
