At present I am the Cypres Family Distinguished Professor in Legal Studies in Business at Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business (2006-Present). Prior to my current position, I have served as the Dean of the Business Division at SUNY Broome (2002-2006),
As Professor of Business at SUNY Delhi (1990-2002), as Assistant Dean and Director of the Extended-Day Program at Plaza College (1988-1990), and as Academic Dean of Market Training Institute (1987-1988). I am an attorney licensed in New York, and a long-time member of the North East Academy of Legal Studies in Business who twice served three-year terms as president, vice-president and program chair of two academic conferences. I have practices law for more than 30 years, though I have not billed a client in more than a quarter century, and have also done some legal consulting work.
