Played out against Manhattan's brownsstones, tree-lined streets and gloomy pre-war apartments, CONNECTIONS brings together an intriguing cast of New Yorkers -- senior citizens, a gay pair, a social worker finding love, a couple with a troubled marriage, a lonely office manager -- who come together through their love for animals, and join forces against the menace that threatens some of them.
