Ulrugh is the second book in Miriam Verbeek’s fantastic Si’Empra trilogy. The immersive fantasy narrative continues, with more clues given to the history and inhabitants of Si’Empra- the fictional island in the Southern Ocean where the story is set.
This fantasy story is rooted squarely in the context of the real world, our world, encouraging complete engrossment in the novel.
I highly recommend this book and eagerly await the upcoming conclusion of the story in book three.
