This book is a must read for anyone who has lost a loved one. It would be especially helpful for those who have lost a spouse or someone else to COVID. The author gives you a vulnerable, raw, very real account of her process of healing after losing her husband to COVID suddenly near the beginning of the pandemic. It contains priceless advice and wisdom for anyone struggling with loss, but especially for those people of faith who may be struggling with the "why's" behind the pandemic.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to Tabrina for her bravery in working to turn her pain into healing for others.
Such a touching story!! It really shows what people who've lost loved ones go through after the cards and the phone calls have subsided! We take for granted the "triggers" that can easily change ones mood. Although, I know this had to be hard to open up and let people into her world. I'm very glad she did. Such a strong person. It comforting to know that Tabrina is paving her own way with the help of the Creator. Great job, Tabrina. Please keep holding on and staying strong
This book was a AWESOME book to read. Very heartfelt. The author put A lot of emotion into this. Greatly written.
I Love this book. It is a beautiful story, it will make you laugh, cry, and cheer as you experience the journey that the author takes you on.
This is an amazing book by an amazing woman who had an amazing man. Dear Troy was truly loved and is missed from the bottom of our hearts. Although we can never compare our pain to Tabrina’s, we all are hurting from the loss. Thank you Tabrina for sharing the details so we all can help you gain comfort and find comfort ourselves. Love you forever and always....-Rhanda
It was emotional reading because I know the author personally. I felt her raw pain and was able to observe the different, every changing processes of her grief which she depicted so well. There were so many occasions when I smiled, laughed and cried. I can't say that I "enjoyed" reading it because it's the reflection of a dear friends grief that none of us want to experience, (an experience I never wanted her to go through or write about). I applaud her strength, spirit and courage to share her continual journey and healing.
It truly enlighten me to the ongoing process of living with the loss of someone you love and I'm confident that it will touch the heart of others like Tabrina who are struggling to cope with the loss of their loved ones particularly to this awful pandemic which make these loss so heartbreaking for so many.
