A Dickens of a Crime
Phyllis H. Moore, author
Meg Miller, widow, retired librarian, and community volunteer is set to coordinate the annual homes tour for the Holiday Dickens Festival. Dressed in her scarlet Victorian costume, she checks the upstairs closet in the featured house for the hooped petticoat she needs to wear. However, there is a nude body on the floor, and Meg might know the deceased. She's a suspect, the only one in the house, and determined to discover who killed a well-known socialite with a connection to the local mega-church.
