My memoir describes my Vietnam tour with the First Cavalry Division, the constant struggles and setbacks I went through after returning home, and how I was finally rescued from the grips of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My goal in writing my story was to provide veterans and their families with a better understanding of PTSD, and the stress and anxiety issues many combat vets have to deal with in their attempts at readjusting to civilian life.
