After Obama
Marc Curtis Little, author
The country is sick and tired of being sick and tired of the leadership in Washington, DC. Yet a group of Democratic and Republican lawmakers are amending the U.S. Constitution to make way for a third term for President Barack Obama. Why? That's the question Curt Felton Jr., the non-political party aligned African American mayor of Forrestville, Florida, is trying to get answered. In the process, he finds himself thrust into the presidential campaign (perhaps a "Black on Black" political battle versus President Obama) through his odd and discomforting alliance with a hugely popular conservative radio talk show host. After Obama takes place after the fictional 2014 elections, in which more independents were elected from either major political party, largely due to the mind-numbing battles between the Democratic-controlled White House and the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
