A BBW RomCom
Autumn Dey is a full-figured gal who knows her greatest talent is her voice.
Working as a 900-call in sex therapist is NOT her dream. When an opportunity arises for Autumn to host a late night call-in radio show, she knows she has finally met her true calling.
There's a problem though when she immediately recognizes her new boss's voice as belonging to one of her 900 clients. She knows his deepest, darkest secrets. Dirk Sexton has no clue his newest radio star is also Ramona, the sexy, Southern siren he's been chatting with on her 900 number. Autumn is determined he never find out, but fate has other plans.
All of Me by Andrea Smith was one of the few curvy heroine books where I related to the heroine. Many don’t mention the weight enough, many have heroines that rock their curves with confidence, many have the heroine lose weight. But All of Me had a heroine who understood that her weight played a part in every facet of her life and addressed it head-on. I have an obsession with feeling like I don’t fit in because of my size. I love how All of Me by Andrea Smith made me look beyond that in myself, and see that I am more than just my size. Thank you Andrea for that; I just hope it sticks!
Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. I love how the author made a point of making her heroine, Autumn a little more curvy and well-rounded, rather than the usual, drop-dead gorgeous model type. I also appreciated the fact that Dirk took a while to realize just how he felt about Autumn. It's fast-paced, but never boring, and I thought the twists and turns in the plot and the character development were spot on.
Loved the epilogue. Loved the entire book!
This was a light, easy read. I absolutely adored Autumn. While her insecurities did surface on occasion, they didn't consume her or diminish her confidence. She owned her strengths unapologetically. Laid back, blunt, witty... Autumn is somebody I could see myself hanging out with. It took a bit to warm up to Dirk but with the way his character developed through the story, he won me over in the end. Overall, I enjoyed this book. The characters were well rounded and pull you in. The pacing was great. I would recommend it to any romance reader who is looking for a break from some of the more emotionally heavy or angst filled reads out there.
USA Today Bestselling author Andrea smith is at her best in this much anticipated romantic comedy. This wonderfully written comedy showcases a vibrant cast of characters and her signature witty humor. It's smartly written, original, and will keep you laughing out loud as you flip the page faster. This is not your typical BBW romance. It's better. Realistic story line that touches on issues relatable to everyone with sidesplitting humor makes this a true gem. And the steamy bits. No one writes them better than Smith. A must read for fans of Andrea Smith and romantic comedies.
Smith is back. Better than ever. I highly recommend this wonderful new release!
All of Me by Andrea Smith is a BBW Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Alexander Cendese and Gabrielle Cendese.
I just love Andrea’s books! I loved that the story went between Dirk and Autumn’s point of views. It really brings the story to life.
Alexander and Gabrielle did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their projects in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Romance, BBW Romance, or Romantic Comedies.
Oh Andrea, you are an amazing author. This book had me in stitches, I’m crying with laughter. Absolutely perfect narrator’s, Gabrielle and Alexander are so funny together. Excellent storyline with likeable characters.
alk about laugh a minute. Dirk Sexton is obnoxious, selfish, and a bit of a douche, he’s also hilarious. When Dirk decides he’s had enough faceless one night stands he turns for advice from a phone sex operator. At roughly the same time he gets a new employee to do a late night talk show. He’s happy with his new employee, Autumn, no chance of getting into a compromising position with her, she’s just not his type (he’s a real Shallow Hal, and Autumn is a little bit too curvy for his liking). Autumn’s twin sister summer, however has the figure of a model, and just the sort of women he likes to have a tryst with, sadly she’s as dull as dishwater, it doesn’t however stop him for trying for more. Funny thing is, he really likes spending time with Autumn. Maybe he’s finally maturing, and beginning to see that looks, really aren’t everything. A fun story, great characters, and wonderful writing. Quite possibly my favourite Andrea Smith read. Narration from husband and wife team Alexander and Gabrielle Candece, and I must say they were perfect. Alexander had Dirk’s quirky thoughts down pat. I loved it.
