The Antunite Chronicles’ third book, Antunites Unite, begins several generations after insectoids from Bilaluna recolonize their old planet with its revived atmosphere, which they rename Intopia. Despite their optimism, an authoritarian leader takes control of the colony, designs genetic modifications of ANTs to replace unwanted insect cyborgs, and uses biological alterations and sociological rules to dominate its inhabitants. It is an allegory reminiscent of 1984 and Brave New World, where rebel spies must overcome a dystopian regime that uses histrionics, bionics, and socionics to subjugate its citizens. It’s a brave new world that’s out of this world!
