If you haven't been exposed to AI, this is a good read that begins to show the capabilities of AI and touches on philosophical issues, the future, and some pitfalls of AI. It is not difficult to see a potential dark side in AI's ability to have a "well reasoned" conversation with you. "Her" may be closer to reality than I had ever realized.
