When Emma Merrick, a struggling alcoholic, is sent to inspect Westview General Hospital, she fails to realise the danger she is in at the hands of Doctor Hartmann. Suddenly cut off from the rest of the world, she discovers what lies beneath the façade of the hospital. Emma is desperate to expose the web of lies Doctor Hartmann has spun, and frantic to escape with her life.
