Atheists and Empty Spaces
Michael Thomas, author
The poems discuss the disconnection with nature, the supernatural, art, and religion that has occurred in the recent past. They suggest that, to some degree, most people are atheists because they do not know what to believe and they fill the empty spaces in their minds and souls with ideas that may do more harm than good. The poems are mostly in traditional verse and mostly tell or retell stories from Biblical, Ancient Greek and Roman, and Western literature sources.
