A terminally ill poker player hates the hand he was dealt. Marty Folly learns he has mere months to live. The one person he tells, his estranged daughter Ash, decides to move in to care for him. Now, Marty feels like even his last days aren’t his. Ash takes charge. She insists Marty determine his bucket list, she brings her cat, and she arranges holiday plans. On Thanksgiving, Marty confronts Ash’s mom about Ash’s paternity, ruining the holiday and causing a rift in his relationship with Ash. Forced to take time for self-reflection, Marty sets out to restore his relationship with his daughter and along the way he determines his final bucket list item: to play in the main event of the World Series of Poker.
