Catherine awakens to pure horror, trapped in a rowing boat in a raging storm with a stranger, James McKinnon, who claims to have saved her. With no turning back to England she faces a Europe that she doesn’t recognise, cities, landmarks and entire countries aren’t where they should be and what lies in their place is a society on the verge of collapsing at any minute. They both need to reach the Eastern continent and join up with the mercenary Gillian Valdes who promises to free the people of Europe with a revolution like no other but someone from their past has other ideas.
