Just when you think you've heard it all, you learn about Wayne Boden.
Here's a man who dared to kill on the first date. A shy, unassuming guy, apparently women found him appealing. Once he turned into a monster, there was no escape.
This is an engrossing story, well-written and well-researched, about a vicious serial killer in Montreal and Calgary in the 1970s. He was the first person in Canada to be convicted on bite mark evidence.
This is another really great read from the Crimes Canada Collection. Wayne Boden grew up in a home where he was not shown any love or affection. As an adult, he was handsome, well-built and clean cut. Women were attracted to him but he never really seemed to have a real relationship with any of them because he raped and murdered them within a short time of meeting them. He developed a taste for blood which makes this story even more twisted. This book will definitely hold your interest from beginning to end.
Another great book from Alan Warren. Wayne Boden man who throughout his childhood had no affection you would think he would want nothing other than to be a well respected citizen in his adult life. That never happened. This man became a rapist and a vampire. He not only was bold and had no qualms about murdering on his first date, he also left his mark a bite.
Book is very well written and for those who enjoy true crime, this is a great read.
Any book dealing with murder can interest me, and I want a book that will draw me in. While I received this book as a freebie, it turned out to be a very good read. The author mixes a bit of storytelling with known facts about a murderer in Canada. Nobody expects this to happen in Canada! Our neighbors to the north are so peaceful--then you read a book like this, and you realize monsters can develop anywhere. So creepy. The book does not answer all your questions, either: it will leave you with an unsettled feeling. A great read, gory and gruesome details inside the mind of a serial killer.
This is a very well written account of a deadly serial killer named Wayne Boden who did the unspeakable to his victims and had an appetite for blood. His victims did not have a chance as he wore a mask of sanity to cover his monstrous urges. I highly suggest this book to anyone who reads true crime.
